Craig Joseph Bailey, 38, passed away on Friday, March 2nd, 2018. He was born in Ridgewood, NJ. He resided with his wife Emma Britton-Bailey and their three dogs in Jersey City, NJ. Craig was a shining light to all he encountered; he greeted everyone with a smile and hug, and was the person everyone was glad to see when he entered the room. Craig lived life fiercely, giving his all to everything he did - whether at work doing digital sales, celebrating the triumphs in his family and friends' lives, or creating a happy home with his wife. Craig was a lover of so many things, but most of all, his family, music and vacationing in Maine with his wife and dogs, Ashby, Oban and Conrad.
He was loved and cherished by his parents, and was always excited to see them, or tell them what was happening in his life. His siblings and cousins were more than family, they were his best friends and confidants. When it came to music, Craig and his friends would plan out entire concert seasons to see his favorite band, Widespread Panic, traveling near and far to sing along with the throngs of other music lovers. They would sway with the beat, knowing everything is right when you have music and are surrounded by people who love you. It was in Maine that Craig found peace and quiet, able to reflect on the good fortunes of his life. He and his wife would take the dogs hiking along the cliffs and through the pines, stopping to marvel at nature's beauty. They had each other and their fur babies, and knew that was enough in love and life.
Craig is survived by his wife, Emma Britton-Bailey, parents Robert and Jayne Bailey; brother Robert Bailey, Jr and sister Kimberly Peach (Steven); and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
