Regina M. Wilkos

Regina Michaelina Wilkos (Zwolinski), 94, a lifelong resident of Jersey City and devout parishioner of St. Ann’s Polish RC church, passed away peacefully December 5th, 2017 at Jersey City Medical Center Barnabas Health.

She was the daughter of Sofia Kiensicki and Jozef Zwolinski. She was predeceased by her sister, Elenora, and her beloved husband John Wilkos and is survived by her daughter Dorothy Lisiewski and son John Wilkos (Jacquelyn), 3 grandchildren, Roxanne Culver (Mark), Carrie Manahan (Thomas) and Jayme Lisiewski, 4 great grandchildren, Robert, Christina, Raven and Thomas, and 2 great great grandchildren, Violet, Zayden and soon to be born great great granddaughter.

Regina attended Snyder High School before working for Western Electric, Kearny. She eventually became a home maker to raise her children and grandchildren. Regina was a former president and vice president of the Senior Citizen’s Club and Rosary Society at St. Ann’s Church. She will always be remembered for her warm heart, potato pancakes, cheesecake, ribbon pie, rose garden, magnolia tree, nurturing ways and beautiful smile.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Monday, 12/11, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial 11:00 am at St Ann Polish RC Church, Jersey City. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting on Sunday, 12/10, from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm.
