Yvonne "Babs" Fraser Lashley

Yvonne "Babs" Fraser Lashley, 63, of Jersey City, passed away on October 6th, 2017 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.  Babs was born in Rose Hall Town, Guyana. She was a Psychologist, working at United Cerebral Palsy of Hudson County, North Bergen, as a Teacher for many years. 

Babs leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Michael Lashley; her siblings, Oliver "Ezzie" Fraser, David Fraser, Eunice Fraser, Anona "Annie" Fraser, Terinne Anthony, Delroy "Delly" Fraser, Abel "Biggie" Fraser, Emberson "Lilly" Fraser, Rufus "Omo" Fraser, Wavel Smith and Natasha Fraser; her brothers and sisters-in-law Theodore Lashley, Deborah Sinclair, Clairmonde Lashley, Lawrence Lashley, Jennifer Amerally, Anthony Lashley and Rickford Lashley; many nieces and nephews and many friends. Babs was predeceased by her brother, Lindon "Smithy" Smith.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday, 10/11/2017, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Mass will be celebrated at Grace Anglican Church, North Bergen at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Bayview - New York Bay Cemetery, Jersey City. Visiting on Tuesday, 10/10, at the funeral home from 6:00 - 10:00 pm.
