Tengo los mejores recuerdos de Don Hector desde mi juventud y siempre lo conoci una excelente persona como hermano y tio, asi que por todo ello estoy seguro que Dios lo acogera en su seno. Beloved tio Hector, I am always going to remember you in my thoughts and in my prayers,you were a wonderful human being, honest, kind and you gave me so much advice when you came to my house. You played with my kids when they were little and I will always remember all those days of happiness and love. We are going to miss you but I know you are in better place with no pain and no worries

Querido tío
For ever I shall remember your teachings and the subdued way they were delivered.
We traveled thousands of miles together, I as your co-pilot.
Visited 3 continents, 5 counties, many towns and cities.
Guayaquil was our favorite destination, where upon arrival we feasted on cangrejos, seco de chivo, ceviche de concha prieta, guatita with it’s corresponding cocolón and other delicacies from the area.
My heart aches, but you are now in a better place and as always, watching upon us.
Thank you Caleo, we love you.

Although I didn’t see Tio very much I can say that he was special to me. I will never forget anything he has ever said to me. I will always cherish the moments we had together. You will always be remembered Tio.

Hector "caleo" un hombre noble, integro, luchador y guerrero. La grandeza de su corazon sera recordada para siempre.
Vivio una vida ayudando a otros, su compasion por el necesitado era encomiable, era millonario aunque no era rico porque siempre tenia para dar al que necesitaba. Con su nobleza toco muchas vidas, siempre anhelo que su familia tuviera una experiencia personal con el "redentor". Hoy sin dudas goza de una nueva morada, una celestial, la cual todos debemos aspirar. Jamaz sera olvidado Caleo el gran hombre.

The pioneer of our family! You made a decision in the 60's to leave the country of your birth, probably not knowing that your decision was one that eventually saved our lives. Tio was a man of old fashion good values and qualities. Always willing to help with whatever he had. We spent countless hours in the freezing snowy winter working on my Dodge Diplomat so we could go to a Lakers game at the Meadowlands...(I ended up in the hospital), but it did nothing to him..
He left us with plenty of good Karma, which is the best legacy.
