Helena Ostros

Helena Ostros (nee Papierz), 99, of Jersey City, passed away on Thursday, December 6th, 2018. Helena was born in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1964. During WWII she suffered as a forced laborer in Germany.

Helena was predeceased by her husband, Jozef Ostros and her son Zbigniew Ostros. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Joseph Ostros and his wife Danuta, Barbara Sienkewicz and Bogdan Ostros and his wife Helen; her daughter-in-law, Gienia Ostros; her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Visiting on Sunday, 12/9, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service at 9:00 am Monday at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10:00 am at St Ann Polish RC Church, Jersey City. Interment Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.

Transportation to the Church and the Cemetery and back to the Funeral Home will be provided on Monday.
