Julia Motyka

Julia Motyka (nee Pawlosek) "Babci", 92, of Jersey City, passed away on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Poland, she came to the United States in 1951 from Germany.

Julia had a lot of life in her and survived a very dark period in world history...and went on to be a very strong woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and faced/survived more than her fair share of grief along the way. She worked for Verizon in New York City and enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and going to Atlantic City.

Julia was predeceased by her husband, Stanley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Raymond Motyka, Irene Miller and her husband Richard, Helen Motyka, Elizabeth O'Sullivan and her husband Dennis, and Cynthia Matarazzo, and the late Stella Rullo, Eugene Motyka and Richard Motyka. Julia was the adoring grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 13.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Visiting at the funeral home on Sunday, 1/28. from 4:00-8:00 pm. Interment will be a private service.
