Doodnauth Ramsaywack

Doodnauth Ramsaywack a.k.a. "Bird", 83, passed away on January 12, 2022. He hails from Clonbrook Village, E.C.D., Guyana, where he was a dedicated public servant at Guyana Electricity Company (GEC) for nearly three decades. Doodnauth and his wife, Leila, moved to Jersey City, New Jersey in 1992, where he lived until his death.

Doodnauth is survived by his loving wife, Leila Ramsaywack (79), and five children - Suruj, Raj, Suresh, Nadira, and Mala. He leaves behind daughter-in-laws Sharda, Rita, and Harsha, along with son-in-laws Nar and Amo. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren - Ramona, Sandhya, Yuvraj (“Yuvi”), Sanjay, Amar, Sasha, Sashin, Ajay, and Priya. He will be greatly missed by all. 

Viewings will take place on Friday, January 14, 2022 and Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM. The cremation will take place at 11:00 AM at Garden State Crematory in North Bergen, NJ.
