Frances Faith Donovan

Frances Faith Donovan (nee Maccaronio) "Francy", 93, of Jersey City, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Frances was a lifelong Jersey City resident. She was a graduate of St. John the Baptist grammar school.  She was most proud that she went back to get her high school diploma at the age of 53 from Dickinson Night School. Frances was a soloist in the church for over 25 years as well as a member of many church groups. She was an avid singer, baker and woman of many talents. Frances had a song in her heart for everything and everyone. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren especially her little angel, Peyton.
Fran is predeceased by her husband, Richard, and her son, Raymond. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Donna, Michael (and Lizzette), Sissy (and Richie Mezey) and daughter-in-law Margaret; grandchildren, Ray, Jr (Esmerelda), Lauren Ann Marie Scafidi (John JCFD), Michael Jude (Samantha), and Christina Mezey “Tina”; great-grandmother to Peyton Rose Scafidi “My Little Angel” and adopted mom and nan to many. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral on Wednesday, July 25, 10:00 am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 am at St. Nicholas RC Church, Jersey City. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting on Tuesday 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
