Franciszek Malek

Franciszek Malek, 82, of Jersey City, passed away on Friday, March 5th, 2021. 

Franciszek was born in Charzewice, Poland to Roman and Aleksandra Malek. Franciszek came to the United States from Austria in 1980. In 1983 he began his career at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City as a wallpaper hanger, where he worked until his retirement. He was a parishioner of St. Ann Polish RC Church, Jersey City.

Franciszek is survived by his brother, Jan Malek, of Sokolina, Poland; his sisters, Jadwiga Jach and her husband Tadeusz, of Monsey, New York and Helena Gawron, of Krakow, Poland, and many nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Maria Cota, of Jersey City.
