Gumersindo Gonzalez

Gumersindo Gonzalez, 85, passed away on Thursday, October 4th, 2018. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, he came to New York City in the 1950s. In the 1970s, Gumersindo moved his family to Jersey City, where he was a Factory Worker. Gumersindo Gonzalez loved his family.

Gumersindo leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Secundina Rivera; his children, Maria Garay, Carmen Aponte (Mike), Lydia Diaz, Gladys Gonzalez, Gloria Gonzalez, Millie Manzano (Frank), Frank Gonzalez (Cindy), Milagros Collado (Juan) and Patricia Gonzalez; a sister, Epifania Gonzalez; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and many nephews & nieces.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Monday, 10/8, at the funeral home from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral on Tuesday, 10/9, at 10:30 am at the funeral home, leaving for Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, at 11:30 am.
