Helen Ptaszynski

Helen Ptaszynski (nee Plesnarski), 97, passed away on Tuesday, December 10th, 2019. Helen was a lifelong Jersey City resident. She loved to cook and bake. She once won a prize for a recipe published in the Jersey Journal. She worked as a Teacher's Aide for many years.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Edward Ptaszynski; her brother, Ted Plesnarski; and her son, Mark Ptaszynski. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Melinda Saminski and her husband Stan and her sister, Wanda Osieja.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, 12/16, at 9:00 am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial 10:00 am at St. Ann Polish RC Church, Jersey City. Interment to follow Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting at the funeral home on Sunday, 12/15, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm.
