Jack Gaedt

Jack Gaedt, 74, of Newark, N.J., passed away on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. 

Jack was born in Staten Island, N.Y.  He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Jack worked as a Mechanic and a Truck Driver. He loved going to the gym and working out at home and was a black belt in Karate. He was a marathon runner who ran 3 New York City marathons as well as in Boston and Virginia. Jack also enjoyed Rock & Roll music and eating out in the Ironbound section of Newark. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jack was pre-deceased by his daughter, Lisa. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Tim (Laura) and his five grandchildren, Frank (Victoria), Brielle, Sophia, Jared and Ava.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, 1/9, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Cremation service will be private.
