Jerome Ian Urbano Obituary

Jerome Ian Salva Urbano traded his Paul Smith shoes for a set of angel wings on Monday, March 16, 2020.

An avid learner, he received a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Ramapo College, Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandising and Management from F.I.T., Bachelor of Science in Nursing from N.J.C.U., and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. He also enjoyed learning about astronomy, which is fitting now that he is among the stars.

In his formative years, Jerome was a true star himself. He lit up every room with his dashing smile and contagious laugh. He was known to be the life of the party with his style and grace.

He loved to travel while singing and dancing to the likes of Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. When he’s not jet setting, he was a lover of the fun city life with his big love William and their dogs.

Jerome was predeceased by his grandparents Herculano and Consuelo Urbano and his father Reynaldo Cueto. He leaves behind his life partner, William Alix Duchesne, and their dogs Jakilla, Kima and Chouchou; his mother, Lolita Urbano; his brother, Jason and his wife, Joan Urbano, and their children, Jabrien, Jaden and Jaelyn; his sister, Starr and her husband, Neilson Ocampo, and their son, Neilson Jay; and his loyal best friend, Ted Rose. And a host of beloved close family and friends.

Jerome would have wished for his afterglow to be memories of happy times, and laughing times, with bright and sunny days. We ask you all to spread his light as he continue to shine within our hearts forever.

“Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun”   -John Lennon
