Jose Romoleroux

Jose Wolter Romoleroux passed away on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 after a 3 week battle with COVID. He was 62 years old, a vibrant man and taken far too soon. He was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on August 14th, 1958. He was an incredible father, husband, grandfather and friend who filled any room he entered with laughter and youthful spirit. Whether you knew him your whole life, or only had just met him, he brought joy and kindness wherever he went.

Wolter loved to go fishing, he loved the sea and open ocean, he loved his guitar and music, he loved his birth country of Ecuador, but above all he loved his family. Wolter's heart made time for all, and to so many, Wolter was a daily phone call that people waited for, a friendly voice that always greeted you with a smile. There was never such thing as a bad day. 

His loving personality leaves a legacy of joy and the memory of laughter - something his family will strive to uphold daily and to treasure each moment of life. He shall forever live in our memories until the day we reunite with him in the presence of the Lord. 

He is survived by his wife, Rosario, his three children, Gaby, Sasha and Michael, his 3 grandchildren, Ethan, Elliana and a grandson expected in May, by all his brothers and sisters, and his nieces and nephews. 

If any flower arrangements wish to be delivered, you may send them to the funeral home to arrive Saturday morning, February 6th, 2021. 

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Monday, 2/8, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Weehawken Cemetery, North Bergen. Visitation will be on Saturday, 2/6, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 2:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
