Juliet Elias Ibrahim, adored and beloved wife, kind and generous Sister and Aunt to all in her family and her Church community, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024. Her generosity and kindness knew no bounds always putting others ahead of herself while she lived a humble and pious life. Aunt Juliet, as she was affectionately known by all around her, was always smiling her beautiful smile with such light in her eyes. She was a dedicated and devout Coptic who supported the Church in every way she could, famous for baking sweet delights for feasts and weddings starting as a young girl with her mother and sisters. Her devotion to our Lord and Savior included holy pilgrimage to the tomb of our Lord in Jerusalem. Originally from Khartoum, Sudan, she helped raise her younger brothers after the untimely death of their beloved father. Juliet dedicated her entire professional life in service to the US Embassy in Khartoum earning several distinguished awards. In recognition of her exemplary and dedicated service to the United States, she was granted permanent residency upon her retirement when she moved to the Community and St. George & St. Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church she loved in Jersey City, NJ in 1998.
Juliet was the beloved wife of George Ayad Boutros and cherished sister of her surviving brothers Samir and Nabil Elias, and loved aunt of Joseph and Marianne Elias; Magda, Maha Minerva, Mohsan and Mona Malak; Mena, Kyrillos, Elias, and Dr. Mary Nabil; Mariam Boulis; Emanuel and Daniel Farouk; and Rafat, Rini, and Romani Luga.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Wake Service on Sunday, 11/24, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at St. George & St. Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church, Jersey City. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, 11/25, at 10:00am at St. George & St. Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church, Jersey City. Entombment to follow at Christ Church Cemetery, Belleville, N.J.
