Maria Del Carmen Nieves Salcedo

Maria Del Carmen Nieves Salcedo, 72, of Jersey City, passed away on June 22, 2021. 

Maria was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico and came to the New York area as a young woman, She worked for 25 years as a Dispatcher. She was a hard worker and an independent person who put the happiness of others before her own. She was a caring person who will be greatly missed.

Maria leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Manuel Antonio Nieves; her son, Noel Antonio Nieves; her daughters, Zulay Nieves and her husband Peter Krmic and Mariels Fernandez and her husband Eddie; her brothers, Ismael Salcedo and Raul Salcedo; her sister Matilde Lopez and her husband Anastasio; her grandchildren, Elijah and Isabel Fernandez and many nephews and nieces.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, 6/26, at the funeral home at 8:30 am. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's RC Church, Jersey City at 10:00 am. Visiting at the funeral home on Friday, 6/25, from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Burial will be in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico,
