Marvin Leo Brooks, 51, of Jersey City, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025.
Dear Lord, we thank you that we can lean on your strength in our time of need. We are very saddened by the sudden passing of our beloved, Marvin Leo Brooks (Curtis). Our hearts are broken, but we are thankful that you understand our pain and will comfort us as we grieve.
With Curtis's sudden passing, we are reminded that life is short and we might not get to say goodbye to our loved ones, so love deeply. We thank you for Psalm 34:18, which reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
We thank you for giving us 51 years with Curtis. We will cherish the memories in our hearts. Curtis loved his family deeply and would do anything for them. May you comfort his mother, Jennifer, and his two sisters, Sophia & Nardia, his brothers, Patrick and Dwight and his entire family. We thank you in advance for pouring out your endlesslove, strength, and grace on everyone during this difficult time.
It is through the lord Jesus Christ; we can confidently bring our prayers to you, and know they will be answered. As we lay Curtis to rest, we know we will see him again in Heaven. Until we see Curtis again, may we live out his legacy of love here on earth to everyone we meet.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the visiting at the funeral home on Sunday June 8 2025, from 1:00 -3:00 PM. Cremation service will be private.
