Michael Jay Cruz, 32, of Jersey City, passed away on Thursday, May 26th, 2022.
We all knew Michael as a smiling, jovial man. He was full of fiery energy, passion and creativity. He was friendly, inviting, loved by his friends, fraternity and family. His love for skateboarding, his fraternity, friends and movies brought great joy. Anyone that met Michael felt he left an impact. Even through his struggles he remained a true warrior and knight.
Michael was a Seton Hall Alumni where he was a very avid brother within the Psi Sigma Phi Multicultural Fraternity, Inc. He was #5 of the Fall '08 Heptonic Line of the Gallant Gamma Chapter at Seton Hall and also served as a National Stroll Captain, where he competed in National Stroll competitions and choreographed numerous strolls and step routines. Michael dedicated his work life as a videographer.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory, Mother Venus Banguela; Father Luis Alvarez Cruz; Dad Brian Leslie Vado; Sister Brianna Susanna Vado; Grandparents Isaura Piris & Luis Arboleda, Luis Cruz, Evelyn Ciman & Efrain Banguela.
