Monir was a father to so many, not just to his children. He taught us how to love. His love of people
and desire for peace among others moved him to serve without ceasing. He is the personification of
Christ’s words “You are the light of the world.” His gentle but contagious smile could light up any room
and warm every heart. His tender gaze made everyone who met him feel instantly welcomed and
accepted. He gave to those in need, even when he did not have. He was a true peacemaker. His
honesty and integrity was something to be modeled after. He was a gentleman whose greatest joy
was to be surrounded by his treasured family. His heart of forgiveness, love, kindness and generosity
at all costs, humbles us. He was truly a man of God who quietly showed his faith through his actions
and words. Anyone that met him felt and saw God in him. He will be missed more than can be
described and we look forward to the day that we can see his shining face once again.
