Remone Dimiane, 79, passed away on June 8th, 2020 just hours after being surrounded by his loved ones in the hospital. “Giddu” Remone was born on 10/1/1940 in Qena, Egypt along with his two older sisters Eva and Viola. Just 3 months after his birth, his father passed away in Egypt. “Uncle” Remone migrated to the U.S. in 1972 with just $200 dollars in his pocket. He went back to Egypt in 1974 and married Salwa Dimiane then finally settled in Jersey City, NJ. He worked hard to support his family by working as a security guard overnight. “Daddy” Remone raised 3 beautiful girls and was adored by his seven grandchildren. He was a devoted member and faithful servant of St. George and St. Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church in Jersey City. He was well-known for his selflessness and quietly served countless members of the community. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure for many generations to come.
