Umberto Magarelli

Umberto Magarelli, 96, passed away after a long and fulfilling life. Born in Molfetta, Italy in 1930, Umberto began a remarkable journey at a young age. In his early twenties, he traveled to Venezuela, where he lived for five years before coming to the United States around 1955.

A hardworking and determined man, Umberto built a successful life in America through dedication and perseverance. For many years, he was the owner of a sewing and knitting company, where he manufactured clothing at his factory in New Jersey. He took great pride in his work and was admired for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to everything he undertook.

Above all, Umberto was a gentle, kind, and trustworthy man. He was someone people could count on, always willing to lend a helping hand and always there for those he loved. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Eva, to whom he was married for 33 wonderful years. Together, they shared a happy life filled with love and companionship. Umberto was a loving husband who was always by Eva’s side, caring for and supporting her throughout their years together.

Outside of work and family, Umberto enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved to cook and took pleasure in preparing meals for those around him. He also enjoyed taking walks and appreciating the world around him.

Umberto will be remembered for his gentle nature, his hardworking spirit, his generosity, and, most of all, the love he gave to his family. His presence brought warmth and comfort to those fortunate enough to know him, and his memory will remain a lasting blessing to his loved ones.

He is survived by his adoring wife of 33 years, Eva Magarelli; his daughters, Rosanna Magarelli and Catherine Magarelli; his grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew; and his two beloved great-grandchildren, two beautiful boys.

Umberto’s family will forever cherish the many years they shared with him and the love, wisdom, and kindness he brought into their lives. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Visiting on Tuesday, 8/18, from 5:00 - 9:00PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Wyszkow, Poland.
