Wieslaw Pych, 71, of Jersey City, passed away on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021.
Wieslaw was born in Stok, Poland where he was educated as a machinist and immigrated to Jersey City in 1973. Wieslaw held many positions in different jobs over the years but spent the last 40 as a longshoreman working as a TIR Inspector at Maher Terminals in Elizabeth Seaport. He was a parishioner at St. Ann's Polish RC Church, Jersey City and was a devout Catholic. Wieslaw was never met with a question he couldn't answer or a problem he couldn't find a solution to. He was passionate about helping anyone that crossed his path. He loved to joke with anyone and could talk your ear off about any subject. Wieslaw made a tremendous impact on the Polish community and helped so many individuals. He will be remembered for his kind heart. Wieslaw did not have an easy life but he fought until the very end.
Wieslaw was predeceased by his Loving Son, Mark C. Pych and his Caring Brother, Tadeusz Pych. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his Adoring Wife, Maria (nee Bok); his Loving Daughter, Bernadette Pych; his Caring Brother, Mieczyslaw Pych and his wife Teresa; his Caring Sister, Elzbieta Lesniewski and her husband Wieslaw and his Caring Sister-in-Law, Zofia Pych and many nephews and nieces.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, 8/9, at 9:30am at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial 10:30am at St. Ann's Polish RC Church, Jersey City. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday, 8/8, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm.
